Parmigiani Fleurier, has earned a reputation as an underdog in independent watchmaking. Michel Parmigiani, renowned for restoring timepieces, ran a small workshop in Couvet, Switzerland. As he crafted unique watches for clients, the workshop became a training ground for accomplished watchmakers like Kari Voutilainen, Stepan Sarpaneva, and Raúl Pagès. PF is globally recognized as a highly integrated watch manufacturer. Its facilities play a crucial role in the Swiss watch industry's supply chain, producing essential components and restoring significant clocks. Today this has helped solidify Michel Parmigiani's position as one of the pioneers and "fathers" of independent watchmaking.

PF introduced the Ionica in 1999 and developed their first in house movement, cal. 110 for the model. Not only was it unusual to see an in house movement at that time, their caliber boasted an impressive 8 day power reserve. Like all FP designs, the Ionica has its own unique design language, featuring "javelin" style hands and a double "coin edge" bezel. The textured dial features beautiful Breguet style numerals, a date window, small seconds and power reserve indicator. The Ionica feels truly impressive in the metal for its high quality construction and hefty weight. We believe it is well suited for medium to larger sized wrists. This particular collector set remains in stunning unpolished condition and comes accompanied by its warranty papers, manual, inner and outer boxes, strap and 18k rose gold PF buckle.
