Patek Philippe - Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5165A-001 - (38mm) - Archive Papers

The Patek Philippe Aquanaut was introduced in 1997 with the ref. 5060A as a younger and more modern take on the luxury sports watch. Its signature "grenade" dial matched to its comfortable rubber strap and though it was equally practical as it was comfortable, it was unlike anything Patek had ever released prior and went largely overlooked for years. Today, the model is highly popular and might just be the best high-grade sports watch available.

The ref. 5165A we have on offer is a very desirable 38mm version that unbeknownst to many was only produced from 2007 to 2012. In recent years some collectors who prefer a blend of modern and neo-vintage style have come to appreciate this reference for its elegant proportions on wrist and relative scarcity. This particular example has remained in fantastic condition and has just been professionally polished to show a clean bezel and case with very sharp edges. Adding to its provenance, an Archive Extract has been ordered and will be provided to its next owner. The watch comes on its correct Patek deployant buckle and black rubber strap which will fit an approximate 7 inch wrist (or smaller if sized down). We can't think of a better daily driver for the sophisticated collector.
