Patek Philippe - Patek Philippe Calatrava 5022g w/ Breguet Numerals - 18k White Gold

The Patek Philippe Calatrava stands as a testament to one of the most esteemed watch designs from the 20th century, with its origins dating back to the 1930s, commencing with the iconic ref. 96. Produced for only 5 years from 1997 to 2003, the ref. 5022 is another derivation of the original ref. 96 design with boosted proportions, coming in at 33mm wide and 38mm lug to lug, which is ample for small to medium sized wrists. Some collectors today would argue the ref. 5022 is a great balance of modern reliability, slim proportions with the benefit of true vintage aesthetics - a combination tough to find elsewhere.

This particular Calatrava features an "officer" style case geometry. It is cased in white gold and features a white dial with Breguet style numerals and a sub-seconds register at the 6 o-clock position. Any Patek Philippe with these numerals is special and we would argue this ref. remains largely undervalued considering where older examples can trade. We could not pass up on acquiring this piece for its well-preserved dial and sharp case. We're truly thrilled to offer this neo-vintage classic in the shop, ready for its next custodian.
