Incredible Neo-Vintage Perpetual Calendar Automatic by Gerald Genta!
Indisputably one of the greatest watch designers of the 20th century. Genta started his career with at Universal Geneve and notably designed the popular Polerouter Microrotor. He went on to design many iconic watches including Omega’s Constellation, the Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse, the Cartier Pasha and perhaps his most famous designs of all the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak & Patek Nautilus amongst many others. In 1969 Mr. Genta founded his own brand and continued his works utilizing his unique design, exotic materials and high complications.
The watch offered here is his perpetual calendar reference 2132 dating to 1994. It features a 36mm stainless steel case which has amazing proportions with its stepped bezel and slim case. The dial is classic and beautiful in white with a pop of color in the lapis lazuli moonphase subdial at 12 o’clock. The movement is an automatic caliber 70PQP.
As you can see the watch is in excellent condition and it comes with all of its original papers, buckle and setting tool. This is a truly amazing collectors grade example and is quite a value proposition!
