Piaget - Piaget Tank White Gold Ref.9151, 1970s
Founded in 1874 the Maison Piaget is known to have pushed the boundaries when it comes to innovation, design and craftsmanship of watches and jewelry.
The brand was under the radar for quite a while but has has slowly but strongly made a come back to our screens and wrists due to a fresh trend. Interesting watches with integrated bracelets, exotic dials and case shapes. It is literally bringing back Piaget's presence from the 1970s and 1980s.
Here's a very elegant example of the 1970s, the 9151 with ultra slim manual winding movement. The sleek and slim white gold case is decorated by the iconic Clous de Paris finishing on the case giving the watch a very interesting, yet subtle look. The off-white dial is in excellent condition and is kept minimalistic and classy featuring Roman numerals and blued Dauphine hands.
The smaller size of these very dressy watches is being embraced more and more and we think that it is pure class on the wrist.
