The Chronograph 1 Limited Edition for Hodinkee reimagines F. A. Porsche’s iconic design through a modern lens, limited to just 350 pieces. Though it remains faithful to the original vision, this 2024 release incorporates thoughtful updates suited for today’s enthusiasts. Crafted entirely in Porsche Design’s watchmaking facility in Solothurn, Switzerland, the new edition presents a contemporary take on what Porsche himself might have created if he were designing for the present day. Staying true to the familiar aesthetic, the watch features a 40.8mm case and integrated bracelet, both precision-machined from lightweight, highly durable titanium. A matte-black Titanium-Carbide coating gives the watch its distinctive stealthy appearance. The classic 6-9-12 chronograph subdial configuration returns, with a 30-minute totalizer at 12, 12-hour counter at 6, and small seconds at 9. The dial proudly displays the heritage Porsche Design logo and typography, along with a vintage-style “1 Mile” rehaut—a subtle nod to the U.S. market, Hodinkee’s home base. The only overt reference to the collaboration is the ‘H’ at 6 o’clock, colored in Porsche Design Red from 1972, a hue famously used in the military-issued “3H” models.

This example has remained in nice used condition with some wear, primarily on its clasp and bracelet. It comes fully linked and as a complete set from new with warranty card, booklets and COSC certification.
