Patek Philippe - Rare Clous de Paris Tank | 18k Gold | Ref 2496
Vintage Patek Philippe is a sanctum where time is sculpted and immortalized; just like a Botticelli imbues canvas with the eternal or a Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic transforms metal into kinetic poetry.
The 2496 was only produced in very limited numbers from 1951 until early 1962. Case materials and dials did vary, but the full Clous de Paris model was the rarest and most coveted. This near perfect example, preserved with the original strap, buckle and with hallmarks still crisp, is the horological equivalent of a barn-find Ferrari 250 GTO, original paintwork intact, its engine unspoiled by modern hands.
This is a symbol of Patek’s unrivaled command over the miniature arts; as if the maison had woven a tapestry of gold to hold time itself. To wear it is to wear history, art and genius.
