Longines - Rare Longines Hobnail | Lapis Lazuli Dial | Integrated Bracelet

From 1832 in the Swiss Jura mountains, Longines has pioneered instruments for timing sport events, a chronograph pocket watch with a monopusher crown and some years later, in 1889, instruments that can even measure 1/5 of a second. On the strength of such classic watchmaking traditions, Longines has attached great importance to celebrating its past.

Whilst Longines excels in complicated chronographs which at some point were regarded amongst the very finest, dress watches such as the one featured here are rare from the brand especially considering the exotic stone dial which has hardly been seen in Longines models.

Featuring a hobnail texture throughout and the finest Lapis Lazuli with flecks of golden pyrite dancing across its surface, this may well be one of the rarest Longines watches ever made.

From the period when they were referred to as ‘The World's Most Honored Watch’, winning 10 ‘Gran Prix’ awards (more than any other watch manufacturer) and multiple Observatory Chronometer accuracy competitions.
