The Rolex Air King is arguably one of the most undervalued models in the brand's lineup. At 34mm, the 14000 reference is often overlooked for larger case sizes but as the market evolves, its clear that smaller pieces are becoming more acceptable, and for good reason. This smaller Oyster case has been worn for decades past and perhaps most notably on the wrist of Ryan Gosling in recent years. Its fair to say that it looks elegant on an average sized wrist and the collector community is becoming more open to slimmer designs in favor of the less bulky.

This particular example was hard to pass up on for its silver dial that has "tropicalized" into a warm cream tone. This iteration of the Air King is one of its cleanest and "no frills" designs with flat bezel and stick markets, making it the perfect understated daily driver. Remaining in excellent vintage condition, this piece boasts a mint dial and unpolished case/bracelet which remains tight, fitting an approximate 7 inch wrist. eIf you're looking for a top grade example from Rolex and a place of great value for the brand this one could be just the ticket.

Dial: Mint with no blemishes to note of under magnification. All of the tritium plots have taken on a gorgeous matching patina.
Bezel: Very sharp and appears unpolished. Hands: Are matching. All of their lume is stable. Case: Very sharp and appears unpolished. Normal wear consistent with age. Correct signed crown.
Bracelet: Appears unpolished and remains very tight. Correct for the serial and comes with 11 links. Will fit an approximate 7 inch wrist. Crystal: Clear.
