Rolex - Rolex Date 15037 w/ Gold "Champagne" Dial

The Rolex Date (34mm) is undoubtedly discussed less than its 36mm siblings; the now iconic Datejust and Day-Date. That doesn't mean the model should be overlooked however and we'd argue that the slightly smaller dimensions feel even more elegant on wrist, especially in yellow gold.

Speaking of gold, that brings us to this absolutely stunning 14k example with gold "champagne" dial. Being a 5 digit reference it benefits from the practicality of a quickset date. Not only is this a model we rarely come across, it simply oozes character on wrist. For anyone looking for a precious metal watch, this model does a good job of riding a line of opulence and being just toned down enough with its scale and age being vintage gold, which we prefer over the flashy polished and reflective surfaces of most modern pieces. This piece benefits from just having the bracelet entirely rebuilt under our purview which makes it feel "as new." The dial is mint with with gorgeous tritium plots and the case has remained thick and even. We can't overstate how nice this watch is to wear and if you've been looking for something like it don't overlook this seldom seen beauty.

Dial: Fantastic for its age. No blemishes to note of under magnification. All of the lume plots are present and even in color.
Bezel: Nicely preserved with no notable blemises. Hands: Are matching and all of their lume is stable. Case: Strong dimensions with thick and even lugs. Normal signs of use consistent with age. Correct signed crown.
Bracelet: Completely rebuilt and extremely tight as it came from factory. It's worth noting the coronet on the clasp is still very strong and hard to find in this nice of shape. Will fit up to a 7.25 inch wrist. Crystal: Clear.
Accessories: None.

The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
