This particular S serial example, circa 1993 falls in the 5 digit reference era which benefits from the addition of a quickset date function. It boasts a spectacular "linen" dial that has "tropicalized" to a warm and perfectly even "cream" color adding both texture and warmth. Overall, this piece remains in fantastic vintage condition with a thick case, displaying sharp edges. The bracelet has medium stretch but frankly feels silky and comfortable as a result and will fit an approximate 7.25 inch wrist. A steel/white gold fluted Datejust with Jubilee bracelet is arguably the most classic and dynamic iteration of the model and its hard not to love the aging process of this dial which brings it to a cut above.
Dial: Is a "linen" variant and has aged to a gorgeous and even "cream" providing warmth. No blemishes to note of under magnification. All of the lume plots are present and even in color.
Bezel: Appears sharp with no notable blemishes. Hands: Are matching and all of their lume is stable.
Case: Very thick and even lugs with sharp edges. Normal signs of use consistent with age. Correct signed crown.
Bracelet: Displays medium stretch. No notable blemishes. Will fit an approximate 7.25 inch wrist.
Crystal: Clear.
