Platinum 1804 - in our constant quest for rare and fine Day Dates we come across quite a few examples which stand out because of dials and factory case decorations however whenever a Vintage Day Date in Platinum comes on our table our heartbeat becomes faster. What we have here is a 1966 Rolex Day Date Reference 1804. This reference is configured with a factory diamond bezel and diamond dial. The dial is a stunning silver Diamond Dial which has turned into a light champagne color. The 6 and 9 indexes have Baguette markers. The tritium dots on the dial as well as the luminous material on the hands have beautifully aged to a sand color creating a nice contrast. The factory diamond bezel is like a glamorous frame around the dial. This factory 1804 is not for the fainted heart and is only seen once in a blue moon. it is still on the original bracelet. This watch is pure power on the wrist.
