The Rolex Explorer was first introduced in 1953 and is notable for its association with adventure. The design emphasizes durability, reliability, and legibility in extreme conditions. Rolex introduced the ref. 214270 in 2010, notably with a 39mm case – a first for the Explorer lineage. The reference had an eleven-year production run, in which Rolex produced two dial variants, the MK1 and MK2. The watch presented here is a MK2 variant. The MK2 dial is indicated by the larger handsets more appropriately proportioned with the minute track and the dial featuring luminous numerals, versus the non-luminous MK1. This example remains in excellent pre-owned condition and comes with its inner and outer boxes, warranty card, booklets, wallet, and wax hang tag. It is ready to enjoy for many adventures to come.

Case: Appears sharp with thick and even lugs. Light signs of use overall. Correct signed crown. Bracelet: Retains 12 links and remains tight. Will fit an approximate 7.25 inch wrist.
