Rolex - Rolex Explorer II 16570 "Polar" w/ Luminova

The Explorer II "Polar" is finally getting the recognition it deserves as collectors are understanding its significance in the sport Rolex lineup. While it isn’t the only white dial sport model, it has the potential to stand as a highlight in any collection of tool watches for its crisp and clean appearance against an array of primarily black matte and glossy dials. Similar to the Explorer 1, we love the playful connection to adventure these watches suggest from their intended tool purpose. Today, they remain a fantastic value in comparison to most Rolex featuring a GMT complication.

This F serial example, circa 2003-5 features a beautiful mint dial with luminova plots and hands. The case/bracelet remain extremely sharp and tight. If you've been looking for a top "Polar" example, this piece hits all the right notes and features a "no holes" style case for those who prefer the more modern side of neo-vintage Rolex.
