It’s incredibly hard to believe that the Rolex GMT-Master II 16710 has been off showroom floors since around 2007. That was fifteen years ago! It's difficult to grasp because the 16710 itself debuted in 1989 and felt like one of those ever-present models—especially when talking about the "Pepsi" bezel. Rolex produced a GMT Master with a Pepsi bezel from the line’s inception in 1954 until 2007—and then, it stopped. It wasn’t until the release of the new ceramic GMT Master II Pepsi, reference 126710BLRO, in 2018 that the model saw a resurgence.
