Rolex introduced the Milgauss in 1956, designed with the specific purpose of withstanding strong magnetic fields. The name Milgauss directly relates to the watch’s utility, deriving from the French words ‘mille’ and ‘gauss’ indicating the 1,000 gauss of magnetic fields the watch can withstand. Beloved by scientists and engineers in its early production for the practical daily use, the Milgauss has now accrued a cult-like following from collectors who enjoy the playful look of the lightning bolt seconds hand. The Milgauss has once again come to prominence after being discontinued by Rolex in 2023.

This stunning watch is the Z-Blue, which Rolex launched in 2014. The watch features a blue dial and green crystal, a stunning combination only found on this particular model. This example, circa 2019, remains in fantastic pre-owned condition with an unpolished case/bracelet. The watch has minimal signs of use and comes as a complete set from new down to the serialized hang tag. Bezel: Extremely sharp and appears unpolished with only minimal surface wear. Hands: Are matching.
Case: Appears unpolished. There are some light wear points on its sides but nothing distracting. Correct signed crown.
Bracelet: Appears very well-preserved and unpolished. Retains 11 links and will fit an approximate 7.25 inch wrist.
Crystal: Clear.
Accessories: Comes complete from new and includes inner and outer boxes, warranty card, booklets, folder, wax and serialized hang tags.
