The Rolex Oyster Perpetual remains one of the brands most refined and "no frills" designs to this day. Going back several decades, the ref. 1002 and 1005 are without a doubt some of Rolex' most beautiful, yet simple creations. Anyone with an average sized wrist will find that the 34mm vintage case on this reference is as elegant on bracelet as it is on a strap.

This particular example, circa 1984 is a two tone variant with sunburst silver dial and wide gold applied indices. It remains in excellent vintage condition with a clean looking dial and very strong case. As with most of these vintage Oyster Perpetuals, this piece feels charming, versatile, and understated.

Dial: Excellent vintage condition with only minimal wear. Part of the 6 o-clock plot flaked off but it is not distracting to the naked eye.
Bezel: Normal signs of use.
Hands: Are matching. All of their lume is stable. Case: Very strong with thick and even lugs. Normal signs of use consistent with age. Correct signed crown.
Bracelet: Two piece vintage strap in brown gator. Crystal: Clear.

The movement was just professionally overhauled. It is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
