Going back several decades, the ref. 100X is without a doubt one of Rolex' most beautiful, yet simple creations. This particular two-tone example, circa 1988 is a collectors dream for anyone hunting the ref. 1005. The watch itself remains in stunning vintage condition with a mint dial/hands displaying clean tritium that has aged to a warm patina. The case/bracelet have remained unpolished. The bracelet displays light stretch and will fit an approximate 7.5 inch wrist. The icing on the cake here is the addition of original warranty papers, inner and outer boxes, booklet, folder, polish cloth and style tag. Dial: Is phenomenally well preserved for its age. No blemishes under magnification and all of the tritium plots are clean, present and full. They have taken a nice warm patina. Bezel: Appears sharp and unpolished with no notable blemishes.
Hands: Are matching. All of their lume is stable. Case: Appears unpolished with thick and evenly proportioned lugs. No distracting wear. Correct signed crown.
Bracelet: Displays light stretch and will fit an approximate 7.5-inch wrist.
Crystal: Has had some imperfections polished off but its clear in its current state
Accessories: Inner and outer boxes, warranty papers, booklet, folder, polish cloth and style tag.
