An absolutely adorable Cartier Santos Dumont ‘Extra Plate’ ref. 96053! This rare petite model saw a very limited production throughout the 1980s. An iconic design dating all the way back to 1904 by Louis Cartier for his friend and aeronaut Alberto Santos-Dumont. Featuring an ultra slim solid 18k yellow case measuring 23x32mm, original ‘Paris’ dial and a manually wound Frederic Piguet cal. 21 movement. It also comes with its original 18k gold pink buckle. As you can see this watch is in beautiful condition and it is a very early serial number, certainly from the first batch ever produced!
