Omega - Seamaster 300 Ref. ST 165.024 (1967 – “Blue Bezel”)
In 1965, the Seamaster 300 took on a more “professional” identity, adopting the famous lyre lugs also seen on the Speedmaster.
The main highlight of this evolution is its new luminous bezel — commonly called bakelite — which became the defining feature of this generation.
By 1967, certain examples of the Seamaster 300 featured a uniquely colored bezel — nicknamed the “Blue Bezel.”
Identified on models destined for specific markets such as South Africa and Latin America, this bezel exhibits a distinctive bluish reflection that sets it apart from all others.
The sword-shaped hour hand is correct for this production period, and the overall patina harmonizes perfectly with the dial and bezel tones.
A truly rare and distinctive example of the Seamaster 300 lineage.
