Omega - Speedmaster 105.012-66
The Omega Speedmaster 105.022-66 is a classic yet wearable vintage reference. It has it all. Stepped dial, DON (Dot Over Ninety) Bezel, acid etched hippocampus caseback, 1039 flat link bracelet and historic 321 movement.
This example dates to 1967 and has been preserved in remarkable original condition. We purchased the watch from the estate of the original owner. The dial is very attractive, the luminous paint has aged to a beautiful orange custard color. There is some loss to the luminous paint at the 3, 9 and 11 o’clock markers. The DON bezel is nicely preserved with a handful of light nicks from normal wear. The case is thick and retains signs of its original finishing. Additionally the watch comes on its original 1039 flat link bracelet which is very good vintage condition. The clasp is marked 3 67 denoting it being manufactured in the third quarter of 1967. I had the caseback gasket replaced to maintain water resistance so the watch an be enjoyed for years to come.
