This watch sits absolutely beautifully on the wrist. Although similarly proportioned to the standard ref 78086 at 23 × 31mm it’s clear these Extra Plate’s reign supreme. I also love the case construction on this reference. The case screws are positioned on the back of the case rather than the sides, giving the watch a sleek look on the wrist. Pair that with the elongated blue sapphire cabochon crown and it’s clear why these are special.

The watch is accompanied by it’s original 18k yellow gold deployant buckle and is fitted with a Cartier signed lizard strap measuring a whopping 8 inches in total circumference.
