Audemars Piguet - Tonneau Automatic, Rare Cushion Stern-Cadran
We are proud to be able to offer Rare Audemars Tonneau Automatic, Stern-Cadran.
WHY WE LOVE IT: Because it is one of the rarest vintage AP housing the legendary and important cal2120 and in whitegold not only rare as hen's teeth but also beautiful monochrome.
Made in 1974 according to its serial numbers; a rare and well preserved AP in a whitegold cushion- / tonneau-shaped case; powered by the legendary cal2120: the ultra-thin and well known automatic-movement by JLC (cal920), Audemars (cal2120), Vacheron (1120) and Patek (cal255-28): 212 parts, 36 jewels, running with a 40h power-reserve on 19'800bph (3Hz). This special and most important AP-caliber was serviced right now and is running precise and reliable.
Brushed silvered dial with applied blacked baton hour markers and blacked hands -- the dial was made by Stern Freres Fabrique de Cadrans (Geneve), the Patek-family. The 18K-whitegold case was made by Gustave Brera for AP, as indicated by Makers-Mark Key[27] and it is in very good shape as well and appears to be unpolished, as the hallmark is deep, clear and visible as is the case-number (94'XXX) on the case-back, too.
We can deliver this rare AP icon with its box and we can guarantee originality & authenticity of the watch in all parts, besides the strap -- we deliver it with a custom-made grey or black ostrich-strap and bund-pad, let us know what you prefer.
