The Black Bay model line has been immensely popular and arguably one of the most successful releases from the Swiss watch industry in the past decade or more. The release of the "BB58" in 2018 was extremely well-received and gave enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy a better proportioned case, and vintage aesthetics, with the all the benefits of a modern watch.

The "58" offers a fantastic value in today's market and as Rolex become more collectible and move into the luxury market with their current offerings, the "58" feels like a Submariner from 10 or 15 years ago, making it one of the most practical divers to own. The blue dial variant harks back to the storied French Marine Nationale watches and its tone pairs easily with a range of colors. This example, circa 2022 comes with its warranty card, booklets and correct boxes but no white hang tag. This piece has been enjoyed but lightly. There is a ding in the upper right lug that's visible in photogprahy. It could be laser welded at a later date but we opted to leave it and believe this example is for the person planning to put this watch through its paces as it was designed.
