Tudor - Tudor Ranger 7995 "No Date Self-Winding" - Rare
The Tudor Ranger was initially brought to market in the 1960s, emerging as a durable field watch sharing design elements of its not too distant cousin, the Rolex Explorer. Today, the model holds a significant place in the brand's legacy, having been re-released in 2014 and again in 2022. Production of the original Ranger only spanned from the 60's to the 80's and today it is one of the most difficult vintage watches to acquire safely, as many were faked throughout the decades. Finding a strong example is of course becoming more difficult as time passes.
We are thrilled to offer this Ranger "no date," circa 1965 which has remained in honest vintage condition. The dial is a very desirable variant with "rose" logo and displays the "smiley" text shape on its lower half with "Ranger" and "Self-Winding." The dial has remained in nice vintage condition with darker patina in its indices and the hands have been color matched. the case is excellent with thick and even lugs and the correct "rivet" style bracelet displays lights stretch and will fit an approximate 7.5 inch wrist. This is a truly rare piece of Tudor history that we believe looks fantastic on leather as it does its steel bracelet. If you've been looking for a charming and seldom seen vintage field watch, look no further.
