Tudor - Tudor Ranger 90220 W/striking Patina & RSC Service Papers - Very Rare

The Tudor Ranger was initially brought to market in the 1960s, emerging as a durable field watch sharing design elements of its not too distant cousin, the Rolex explorer. Today, the model holds a significant place in the brand's legacy, having been re-released in 2014 and again in 2022. Production of the original Ranger only spanned from the 60's to the 80's and today it is one of the most difficult vintage watches to acquire safely, as many were faked throughout the decades. Finding a strong example is of course becoming more difficult as time passes.

We are thrilled to offer this Ranger "no date," circa 1980 which has remained in stunning vintage condition. The dial is beautifully preserved with no notable blemishes and has taken on a remarkable "pumpkin" patina. The "shovel" hands have been color matched perfectly to the dial. We believe the case has been lightly polished but remains very thick and even in proportion. The bracelet is equally nice, displaying light stretch and will fit an approximate 7.25 inch wrist. This piece comes accompanied by Rolex Service Center paperwork from '13 and had a recent overhaul so it is ready to enjoy for years to come. It's hard to beat the charm of the elusive Ranger and if you've been looking for a top example this one surely stands out from the pack.
