Piaget - UltraThin Tank: 1.2mm, Curved WorldRecord, Cartier-esque
We are proud to offer WorldRecord-Thin Tank Normale: cal20P.
WHY WE LOVE IT? Because it is the thinnest mechanical tank ever made with the Piaget cal20P -- a #horologicalMilestone and worldrecord-thin for decades: until Bulgari & Richard Mille cracked the WR in the 2010s.
While Cartier has the Tank Normale it was Piaget that excelled with the Tank Thin-Speziale: Possible with the cal20P (based on the Lasalle cal1200) that was used exclusively by Piaget in the early 1980s and that set a record for decades, with a height of just 1.2mm.
The thinnest manual-winding movement for several decades and lately just topped by the RM-UP01 and the Piaget Altiplano Ultra -- by tenth of a millimeter.
The curved case was made by the artisans of Ponti Gennari (Piaget) and it fantastically hugs the wrist.
