WHY WE LOVE IT: From a time when UG was going full electronic (1966 - 1976ff) and produced some of its finest watches.
This rare watch was produced by UG in 1973 -- so more than 50y ago -- and it was so without any costs spared. Screwed crown and a high quality case with a screwed caseback and amazing bezel and dial: Snowflake. The engine is the Bulova-developed AccuQuartz movement (UG cal73) that combines the super-precise quartz with the beautiful sweeping second-hand of a tuningfork-movement: Beta21++. And it was used by UG when they understood the future is electronic -- the logical step from UniSonic to UniQuartz.
