*Unpolished* 1972 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1601) Satin Grey Non-Luminous Dial

This 1972 Datejust ref. 1601 retains its original and uncommon satin grey "pie-pan" stick marker dial and is in excellent condition with its original Jubilee bracelet and white gold fluted bezel. This piece would make a great start for a new vintage collector or be a great addition to an expanding collection. We love the early Rolex Datejust for its simplicity and classic sophistication.

CASE & BRACELET

The impressive case is believed to remain unpolished with extremely crisp finishing and edges, and honest wear throughout. The white gold fluted bezel is also extremely crisp with no evidence of being previously polsihed present. The case back partially retains its original factory sticker, though it has mostly faded from wear. The Rolex 62510H Jubilee bracelet is an early service unit and retains 18 links that show some stretch and will fit up to a 7.25-inch wrist.

DIAL & HANDS

The original and rare satin grey non-luminous "pie-pan" dial is virtually perfect, showing no damage or age. The original solid steel hands are in excellent condition. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.

ACCESSORIES

The watch is keeping time, though the service history is unknown. A movement service can be purchased upon request.
