Vacheron Constantin - Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Squelette 36003 w/ Skeleton Diamond Dial

One of the oldest watchmaking companies, Vacheron was founded in 1755 in Geneva, Switzerland. As part of the "Holy Trinity," along with Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, VC is known for their high-quality and unique design language. Even today, however, the brand remains relatively underappreciated considering their significant contribution to horology.

The Patrimony Squelette ref. 36003 features a 33.5mm case with an ultra-thin height of just 4mm. This is made possible by its 1006 caliber which is skeletonized and features hand engraving. This caliber was used by VC for most of their skeleton complications in the 80s. This example is cased in 18k yellow gold remains in excellent vintage condition. The factory diamond dial has no distracting wear and the hallmarks and serial are still clearly visible on its back. It comes on a supple Hodinkee calf strap in blue with correct 18k signed VC buckle. This piece has just come back from a full service so it's ready to enjoy for years to come. For anyone looking for a highly elegant and intricate timepiece, this makes for the perfect conversation starter and example to appreciate all that VC has to offer.
