In the mid-20th century, Vacheron Constantin became renowned for its dress watches, characterized by slim profiles, minimalist dials, and high-quality materials like 18K gold, platinum, and stainless steel. These watches often featured manual-wind movements, such as the Caliber 1003, one of the thinnest movements ever made at just 1.64mm.
Vacheron’s vintage pieces also stand out for their meticulous finishing, including guilloché patterns on dials and polished cases. Today, vintage Vacheron Constantin dress watches are highly collectible for their design, craftsmanship, and historical significance.
