Vintage Cartier New York Cocktail Watch in Solid 14k Gold with Diamonds; Circa 1940s.

There is certainly an understated charm to this bracelet watch, sold by one of the premier jewelry houses on 5th avenue, Cartier. Constructed of solid 14k gold which was indicative of American market, particularly in the wartime era, it offered both durability and affordability. With 12 beautiful round brilliant diamonds outlining the top and bottom of the lovely convex crystal. Featuring a manually wound movement by Concord, a partner of Cartier in this period. The Cartier inventory number is perfectly intact on the case back as well as the C+B stamp on the clasp, known to have produced bracelets for Cartier and Tiffany & Co.
