Other - Wittnauer Venus 188 Chronograph

This Wittnauer pump pusher chronograph comes from circa 1950s and houses the more desirable Venus 188 movement amongst collectors (versus the more common Landeron 248). The dial and case have remained in fantastic vintage condition and we're big fans of the mind century and minimal text on its' dial. For anyone looking for a charming and affordable vintage chronograph, you'd be hard pressed to find more value in today's market.

Dial: Well preserved for its age. There are a couple of spots visible in photography but nothing too distracting.
Hands: Appear to be matching and contain radium lume. Because the dial is non-luminous we believe the hands were likely swapped in later but can always be changed for non-luminous ones at a later date.
Case: Sharp and distinct chamfers with signs of use consistent with age. Both pushers and unsigne crown appear crown.
Crystal: Clear.
Bracelet: Two piece supple grained leather strap in brown.
Accessories: NA

All functions of the watch operate flawlessly. The movement is running well on our timegrapher and comes with our 1-year mechanical warranty.
